Description and Purpose
At first I was hesitant to make this blog due to the stigma assoctiated with Wicca and paganism. Now I think it'll be the driving force behind my blog; I'll attempt to confirm or deny people's suspicions on paganism to the best of my ability. Feel free to ask plenty of questions in the comments. I just ask you to be a little considerate when making a comment; I don't want any derogatory or discriminatory comments. This is an open and judgment-free place. Blog posts will primarily focus on my personal experiences with paganism (see Why I Became Wiccan), and in the future I will create informative pages about beliefs, practices, or anything else.
I should mention that I don't know everything about paganism; I know enough to be able to introduce someone to some of the general ideas, but I know that there are people out there who have been practicing longer than me who can correct me if I'm mistaken or introduce me to something new. So whether you're someone who has no idea what paganism is and would like to learn more, or if you've been practicing for a long time, I hope to share what I've learned and learn some new things along the way.
So let us take a journey into the unknown.
(By the way, I don't think Roald Dahl was pagan. He was a British writer that lived from 1916 to 1990, and in 2008 The Times placed him 16th on its list of the 50 Greatest British Authors since 1945. After serving in the British Royal Air Force during World War II, he began his writing career. Some of his best children's literature, such as James and the Giant Peach, Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The BFG, have remained best-sellers to this day.)
